Highlights of the FA Cup 2024: the Leicester City Football Jerseys Cheap advance to quarter-finals with Fatawu stunner. A superb extra-time goal from Abdul Fatawu helped the championship leaders,Leicester City Boys Football Kit, to beat Premier League Bournemouth and qualify for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

The tie ended goalless in normal time, with both teams hitting the post and missing presentable chances.

With the half-time whistle approaching in extra time, Fatawu picked up the ball on the edge of the box and fired into the top right corner, through the fingertips of Cherries goalkeeper Mark Travers.

The goal was enough to send Enzo Maresca's side through to the last 16 for the first time since they won the tournament in 2021.

The defeat extends Bournemouth's winless run to six games in all competitions but they can now concentrate on securing their Premier League survival, with Andoni Iraola's side currently eight points clear of the relegation zone.

"It was a good win, a good game," said Maresca.

"I don't think winning tonight shows that we are at Premier League level or, if we had lost, that we are not at Premier League level. It's just one game. Tonight we showed our level and we are happy.

"QPR on Saturday [in the league] is the most important thing at the moment."

Iraola, whose side had 27 shots on goal, said: "It's disappointing and it was a bad night for us because in the end it was the worst thing that could have happened to us.

"We had a lot of shots and chances to finish the play and in the end, if you play 120 minutes and you don't score, you deserve to go out.

"I think it's a missed opportunity."

The draw for the quarter-finals will take place at 19:00 GMT

Bournemouth spurn chances as Leicester's dream continues
Bournemouth went toe-to-toe with Manchester City on Saturday but lacked the finishing touch to earn a point or more against the Premier League champions.

This was a very similar situation.

Both teams attacked with real intent and pace in the opening exchanges, but the hosts created the better openings with Luis Sinisterra down the right.

His cut-back saw January signing Enes Unal have a shot blocked on the line, before Alex Scott put another pass from the Colombian winger over the bar.

Leicester grew into the half and went closest of all when Marc Albrighton's low shot hit the post before Wanya Marcal's effort was tipped wide.

Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi hit the same post in the opening exchanges of the second half with a left-footed cross that sailed past everyone before connecting with the post.

The second half was a more cagey affair, but Leicester's Yunus Akgun had a glorious chance to win the tie when he drove in on goal three minutes from time, but it sailed over the bar.

The winner came from the only brilliance of the game and continues what has so far been a memorable season for Leicester, who are six points clear at the top of the Championship.

With three months to go, it could yet prove unforgettable for Maresca and his team.

"It's a great feeling," Fatau said. "I'm very happy for the goal and for the team.

"Our season has been unbelievable. It's good to be at the top of the league, but we're not finished yet. We are striving to get to our main destination and we will go again next week."
